Mexico meets the Mojave Desert - again. Aguamiel returns to D E S E R T R A D E to offer an experience of celebration and communion utilizing the ancient languages of sacred food and ceremony. We are honored and excited to be part of the Wellness weekend of the Sand to Sky Series at Ryan Heffington’s residency in 29 Palms, California, which marks the launch of this incredible space for meeting, creating, sharing, and collaborating.

D E S E R T R A D E is a meeting place for people of all backgrounds to gather, create, and connect. Our space is perfect for meals, dancing and conversations under the stars. Students, intellectuals, neighbors, and children alike are welcome to join us in cultivating friendships, sharing dreams and setting them free. We will host workshops, lectures, gatherings, concerts, performances, dinners and spiritual and healing retreats. Our goal is to create healthier humans within a dignified culture. We believe that through communion, education, and elevation, we can create a more inclusive and conscious world.

CEREMONIAL FEAST
Saturday, May 25, 6-11pm

We open with a ceremony as we gather in a circle to connect with and give thanks to the land and each other and share a ceremonial beverage made with corn and cacao. Followed by a 4-course feast crafted with care using seasonal and consciously sourced ingredients, combining local products with flavors from the best cuisines of Mexico. A unique sensorial experience, recalling ancestral food traditions that nourish our bodies, spirits, and communities. Includes a mezcal tasting by Mezcal Yemanja. The evening culminates with dancing, lounging, and communing under the stars.

TEMAZCAL CEREMONIES
Sunday, May 26, 10am-3pm

A  series of intimate temazcal ceremonies invoking the power of the four elements to purify, heal, and restore balance to the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Our temazcal is a nomadic structure that we are happy to be able to travel with from Oaxaca to connect with and tap into the powerful desert medicine of 29 Palms.
